“My primary responsibilities include managing cross-functional team members working on delivering tools and applications. What I’ve learned throughout my career – organization, delegation and empowerment – helps me mentor, guide and empower others that I work with to do the best they can. That’s very rewarding.

I started as a summer intern at Ligado in our network operations center – 21 years ago! However, my background is computer engineering, so when a software developer position came up, I jumped at the opportunity. Over the years, I’ve appreciated that Ligado is focused on strengthening and promoting talent from within the company. My own career has come a long way from a summer intern thanks to Ligado’s focus on professional development.

My newest colleagues joined the Ligado team after seeing that Ligado is a leader in connecting the Industrial Internet of Things. It’s exciting to be involved with emerging technologies that benefit our day-to-day lives, and I find our company mission works in my favor for recruiting the best talent.
