Description: 

The Marketing Manager will work closely with Product Marketing, Business Development, Technology Development, Government Affairs, and Public Relations to implement brand strategies, communications plans, and event management deliverables utilizing a range of marketing tactics. This position is responsible for the planning and execution of marketing initiatives that support the Company’s business objectives. Range of assignments include online marketing (web/email), marketing vendor management, tradeshow project planning, marketing collateral development, videography production, content management, and internal and external stakeholder communications.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

Execute on marketing communications plans, tactics, timelines in support of internal and external goals through a range of media, including but not limited to:

  • Internal and external communications and the Intranet
  • Online and print development/management
  • Events/Trade Shows
  • Ensure marketing and communications plans are implemented in a timely manner and accurately reflect all tactical activities and details
  • Manage the communications, creative and content approval process
  • Manage day-to-day agency/vendor relationships, timelines, and billing
  • Ensure brand and message consistency
  • Participate in project team meetings as needed to ensure understanding of products
  • Manage projects to meet budget targets

  • Knowledge of telecommunications-related business processes and marketing trends

Education and Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
  • 5-7 years of related experience
  • Strong knowledge of the corporate and creative marketing process
  • Proficiency in matching marketing tools/tactics to branding strategies
  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing integrated campaign materials
  • Ability to interpret and evolve technical inputs into creative marketing output
  • Experienced at writing for the ear with the ability to draft/edit content quickly
  • Skilled at writing/editing marketing content that gets noticed by various audiences
  • High levels of organization, thoroughness, and attention to detail
  • Adept at critiquing/editing presentations to tell a story and make an impression
  • Serves as the focal point for all outside communications-related suppliers, printers, outsource partners and freelancers.

Software Familiarity and Programs: 

  • Adobe InDesign / Acrobat / PowerPoint / Excel / Survey Monkey / Word Press/ Hubspot
  • SharePoint / Thunderbird / Outlook / Office / Confluence / Apps
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
